The White Paper on Artificial Intelligence (AI) published by the European Commission in February 2020, sets out policy options on how to achieve the uptake of AI and address the risks associated with certain uses of this new technology. A public consultation is open for citizens and stakeholders until 14 June 2020 to provide their opinions on the White Paper and contribute to the European approach for the AI.
Artificial intelligence is a strategic technology that offers many benefits for citizens and the economy. It will change our lives by improving healthcare, increasing the efficiency of farming, contributing to climate change mitigation and adaptation, improving the efficiency of production systems through predictive maintenance, increasing the security of Europeans.
