Since the beginning of the pandemic, the activities and meetings of DESIRA have moved online. That is also the case for our project Steering Committee members, who are now meeting regularly online to discuss and exchange updates and progress on the development of the project.
Today, we had one of our monthly Steering Committee meetings, where we discussed the activities of the following Work Packages:
- Work Package 1 has been working on developing a Conceptual and Analytical Framework and is soon to host an online workshop on Participatory Theory Building on 22 June 2020.
- Work Package 2 that is focusing on assessing the past and present impacts of digitalisation, is preparing two online trainings with in the coming weeks meant to guide and assist the work of the Living Labs.
- Work Package 3 is working on guidelines for a DESIRA scenario planning methodology, with contributions from all partners.
- Wok Package 6 is preparing the first meeting of the Rural Digitisation Forum (join the RDF on Facebook) and creating virtual working groups on agriculture, forestry and rural areas. The RDF meeting will take place on 10 September 2020.
The next Steering Committee meeting is planned for the 3 July 2020.
