The European Evaluation Helpdesk for Rural Development has launched the Evaluation Knowledge Bank. The initiative aims at providing insights into various outputs developed in initiatives and projects at the EU, and Member States levels, concerning data infrastructures and data use.

The Evaluation Knowledge Bank proposes a quick guide on potential use, showing how these outputs could be used for monitoring and evaluation of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).

Multiple DESIRA outcomes are included in this information bank developed by the ENRD Evaluation Helpdesk. For instance, it has added a toolkit of digital tools and their potential socio-economic impacts of digital transformation in agriculture, forestry and rural areas in 20 European regions through Living Labs.

The toolkit combines three different DESIRA’s outputs: (i) the Synthesis Report on the Taxonomy and Inventory of Digital Game Changers; (ii) the Conceptual and Analytical Framework (CAF) Report I version; and (iii) the first set of 50 Practice Abstracts.

Furthermore, the Evaluation Knowledge Bank incorporates the Pan-European Assessment Report (PEA) which aims to give an overview of the current state of digitalisation in rural areas across Europe and the corresponding impact on the socioeconomic performance of these regions.
